Framework

This is a conceptual book cover and editorial project exploring personal growth through the metaphor of structural development.

The narrative is divided into five stages — Gravel, Root, Branch, Light, and Road — representing different phases of self-development. Each chapter uses symbolic human figures constructed from textures, typography, mechanical elements, and architectural forms to visualize internal transformation and external influence. The imagery reflects how support systems, knowledge, and experiences contribute to the formation of identity.

Visually, the project adopts an industrial aesthetic with a monochrome palette and a single accent color, emphasizing structure and clarity while maintaining emotional depth. The typographic system combines Eurostile for titles, DIN Condensed for secondary hierarchy, and Futura for body text to reinforce a sense of modernity and engineered precision

Through this project, I explored conceptual storytelling, symbolic illustration, editorial layout, and book design, translating an abstract personal narrative into a cohesive visual system.
